What is Furiah's Visuals?

Furiah’s Visuals is a Forge mod for Minecraft Java Edition 1.8.9 that adds high-resolution visual effects: target auras, hit and kill effects, landing impacts, trails, reworked particles, 3D weapons, item glow, ambience, dynamic skies, motion blur, a dynamic-island HUD and a restyled UI. Every effect has its own settings in the mod’s menu, which you can try in your browser.

It’s purely visual: it changes how the game looks, never how it plays.

Is it a client?

No. Furiah’s Visuals is a Forge mod for 1.8.9. You put it in your mods folder and play with your usual launcher, using the Forge profile.

Can I use it on servers?

Furiah’s Visuals only changes how the game looks on your screen, and it sends no game packets. But every server has its own rules about which mods are allowed, so check each server’s allowed-mods policy before you play. We can’t promise it’s allowed on any particular server.

Does it give an advantage?

It’s built not to. Nothing is drawn through walls, and it never reveals anything the vanilla game hides. Your aim, reach, movement and hits stay exactly vanilla.

Does it work with OptiFine and shader packs?

Yes. OptiFine is optional, and Furiah’s Visuals works with and without it, including with Fast Render on.

With an OptiFine shader pack, some features pause or fall back, and the mod tells you when that happens. Motion Blur pauses, since shader packs have their own.

Will it lower my FPS?

It depends on which sections you turn on and their quality settings. Sections that are off don’t render anything, so you only pay for what you use. Start with the effects you want and adjust their quality from there.

Which Minecraft versions?

Minecraft Java Edition 1.8.9 only, with Forge (11.15.1.2318) on Java 8. The Java that comes with the Minecraft launcher works.

Can I try it before buying?

Yes. The menu demo is a web replica of the mod’s settings menu, with every section, style and setting. Effects are shown with recorded clips, so you can explore every configuration before you buy.

When can I buy it?

Soon. Create an account and tick “Email me when purchases open”, and we’ll let you know as soon as you can buy a license.

How does the license work?

A license is bound to your account and to one Minecraft account (UUID), which you link in your panel. It’s personal: one player, one Minecraft account. Sharing a license isn’t allowed.

Can I change my Minecraft account?

Yes. You can change the Minecraft account your license is bound to once every 7 days in your panel, or at any time through support.

Refunds?

Purchases aren’t open yet. Once they are: if you’re an EU consumer, you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase, unless you asked for the license to be delivered right away and acknowledged that this ends your right of withdrawal. If the mod doesn’t work as described and we can’t fix it, you’re entitled to a refund either way. Read the refund policy for the details.

Mac and Linux?

Yes, Furiah’s Visuals runs wherever Forge 1.8.9 runs: Windows, macOS and Linux. A few modules have their own requirements:

  • Audio module (now playing, visualizer): full features on Windows 10 (version 1809 or newer). On Linux: song info and controls, with an animated visualizer. Not available on macOS.
  • React to music (Dynamic Skies) needs the Audio module’s real audio levels.
  • GPU usage (CPU & GPU module): Windows 10 or newer, or an NVIDIA GPU elsewhere. Otherwise it shows N/A.
How do I get support?

On Discord: that’s where we answer fastest. Email works too. Everything is on the support page.

What data do you store?

As little as we can: your account (email, username and a hash of your password), the Minecraft account you link, your licenses, the menu setups you save, and the security records needed to protect your account. We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and no tracking. You can export or delete your data from your panel at any time. The Privacy Policy has the full details.
