Purchases aren’t open yet. This draft describes how refunds will work once they are. Until then, nobody can be charged, so there is nothing to refund.
Your right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you’re a consumer in the European Union, you can normally withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason.
A Furiah’s Visuals license is digital content that isn’t supplied on a physical medium. Under EU consumer law (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and the national laws that implement it), you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery starts, but only if both of these apply:
- you expressly asked for delivery to start right away, during the withdrawal period; and
- you acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery starts.
At checkout we’ll ask for both with a separate checkbox, and we’ll confirm them in your order email. Delivery starts when the license is activated on your account.
If you didn’t give that request and acknowledgment, you can withdraw within 14 days of the purchase and get a full refund. Write to CONTACT_EMAIL with your order ID, or use any clear statement that you’re withdrawing.
When the mod isn’t as described
You always keep your statutory rights for digital content. If the mod doesn’t work as we describe it on your supported setup and we can’t fix it within a reasonable time, you can get a price reduction or a refund. This applies no matter what you agreed at checkout.
Other refund requests
Outside these cases, refunds are at our discretion. If something went wrong, contact us first; we’d rather fix it.
Licenses revoked for breaking the Terms
If we revoke a license because the Terms of Service were broken, for example because the license was shared, we don’t refund it, except where the law requires us to.
Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us before opening a chargeback; we’ll sort it out quickly. When a payment is charged back, the license it paid for is revoked.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days, and the license is revoked at the same time. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
